Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a feature in that allows users to reset their passwords without needing to contact their IT helpdesk. By using SSPR, users can securely regain access to their accounts by verifying their identity using pre-configured authentication methods such as email, phone number, or security questions.

Key Features of SSPR:

  1. Empowers Users: Users can reset their own passwords anytime, reducing reliance on IT support.
  2. Improves Productivity: Reduces downtime associated with waiting for password resets.
  3. Compliance with Security Policies: Allows admins to enforce password policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA) during the reset process to enhance security.
